Hey, thanks for stopping by. I'm Alex. I started this site to write about building software with AI as a partner, and what I've learned doing it first hand.

I'm not a developer by trade. I've spent fifteen years in enterprise software, in data security and governance, and the guardrails enterprises need to adopt AI responsibly. Moving between a working session with developers and a strategy conversation with executives is a normal part of my day.

That gave me a close view of how software is built, bought, and shipped — but I had never built a product myself.

That changed in 2025.

I had an idea for a podcast app that fits episodes to the time you actually have. With AI as my building partner, I turned it into a real product.

An AI agent writes the code. I decide what we're building, define what good looks like, test what comes back, and determine when it's ready. I'm still learning, and that's part of why this site exists.

The lesson so far comes down to one line:

Building got democratized. Judgment didn't.
